It is no longer global warming because it isn't.

It is climate change because it does.

Men are never so likely to settle a question rightly as when they discuss it freely.

— Thomas B. Macaulay (1800-1859), Essay on Southey's Colloquies

All of us could take a lesson from the weather. It pays no attention to criticism.

Global Warming causes Logic Lapse

Four mountain climbers were killed when a "a wave of snow 80 stories tall crashed over them, snapping the rope that kept the group connected". Mountain climbing is a dangerous activity and these are not the first to lose their lives recently on the mountains of the world. The New York Times  (NYT) seems to think this is due to "a higher level of energy in the atmosphere from global warming."

Now as I understand it global warming is supposed to be caused by increased levels of CO2 in our atmosphere due to soccer moms driving mini-vans.

The NYT reported that "On McKinley, the snows this year have been prodigious". Now how did the snow get there in the first place? Did the heat-trapping gas, CO2, not do its job? Did it go south for the winter? Where did the cold come from that produced the snow? The LATimes reported that on Mt. McKinley "Winds howl up to 80 mph. Temperatures frequently dip below minus 40." Have I missed something? This does not sound like global warming to me. Kinda takes the GLOBAL out of global warming don't ya think?

So during the winter of 2011-2012 and on into the spring Mt. McKinley had a lot of snow. There was a particularly snowy, cold winter in the Alaska/Yukon area of North America. The Bering Sea had 150% more ice than normal.

And this was because all the heat trapping CO2 molecules congregated in the Eastern US where temperatures were milder than normal?

And the Gorebull award goes to....
