It is no longer global warming because it isn't.

It is climate change because it does.

Men are never so likely to settle a question rightly as when they discuss it freely.

— Thomas B. Macaulay (1800-1859), Essay on Southey's Colloquies

All of us could take a lesson from the weather. It pays no attention to criticism.

Recent Observations Incompatible with a Man Made Warming World

The Blow Delivered by Snow

December 2018

A BLOW to climate alarmism has been delivered by SNOW.

This should not be happening in a warming world where the higher latitudes are supposed to be undergoing a warming trend under the steady rise of carbon dioxide in our atmosphere.

In addition to the extensive snow cover cold is showing up as a complement. Are we surprised?

South Korea has gotten a dose of both.

Following the cue/theme of a colder North glaciers are growing

Iowa has seen record snowfall.

As has Alberta

It was cold everywhere in the US

Even the deserts of the Arabian Peninsula have been visited by the white stuff. Take a look at Tabuk.

And Hudson Bay is experiencing a lot of ice for the end of November

Perhaps the climate scare should be shifted from global warming back to global cooling as it was in the 1970s. Maybe, just maybe, the climate is cyclical and has NOTHING whatever to do with the amount of carbon dioxide in the air which has been on a steady increase.

COP24 Tuesday, December 4, 2018

COP24 will take place from 3-14 December 2018, in Katowice, Poland

As we approach COP24 let us review where we are.

Only sixteen countries out of the 197 that have signed the Paris Agreement have defined national climate action plan ambitious enough to meet their pledges, according to a policy brief released on Monday. The 16 countries are: Algeria, Canada, Costa Rica, Ethiopia, Guatemala, Indonesia, Japan, FYR Macedonia, Malaysia, Montenegro, Norway, Papua New Guinea, Peru, Samoa, Singapore and Tonga. --EurActiv, 29 October 2018

Parisians are now rioting against the Paris climate accords - fuel taxes are not popular with the French

SHOWDOWN LOOMS OVER $100 BILLION PLEDGE AT UN CLIMATE CONFERENCE - takers want to take from the makers as a matter of right. Good luck with that.

SKEPTIC CLIMATE SCIENTISTS GATHER FOR CONFERENCE IN GERMANY BEFORE U.N. MEETING - a conference where CO2, a gas of life,  is exonerated and not vilified.

Perhaps the action of Brazil will restore some sanity to these proceedings and help to end them as the costs continue to exceed the benefits except for those officials dependent upon the COPs.

COP24 has begun - Dec. 3, 2018 and with it the hypocrisy continues...and the backlash begins..

At COP24 at the last minute an historic agreement to meet next year and party on will be reached to mutual back-patting. And the climate will continue to change as it always has because it is cyclical.
