It is no longer global warming because it isn't.

It is climate change because it does.

Men are never so likely to settle a question rightly as when they discuss it freely.

— Thomas B. Macaulay (1800-1859), Essay on Southey's Colloquies

All of us could take a lesson from the weather. It pays no attention to criticism.

Paris Agreement Status PRIOR to COP24

COP24 will take place from 3-14 December 2018, in Katowice, Poland

As we approach COP24 let us review where we are.

CHINA shows how seriously it is committed to reducing CO2.

The UK stokes up coal use.

The EU backs away from its commitments.

Canada puts on the climate brakes.

Fracking has lowered the domestic demand for COAL in the US but...

...the rest of the world seems unconcerned about reducing CO2 emissions.

Does the US realize how costly the implementation of the Paris Agreement would be?

And the UN continues with its planned myopia or fear mongering.

Dissenting Voices:

Will they be heard or heeded?

NOT LIKELY. They are gearing up for more fear mongering. YAWN! Must be a COP conference coming up.
