It is no longer global warming because it isn't.

It is climate change because it does.

Men are never so likely to settle a question rightly as when they discuss it freely.

— Thomas B. Macaulay (1800-1859), Essay on Southey's Colloquies

All of us could take a lesson from the weather. It pays no attention to criticism.

Oh, Oh! What Greenhouse Effect?

What Greenhouse Effect! The effect has been analyzed and not been found.

All that money wasted on alternative energy.

Coal plants closed for no good reason.

Incandescent bulbs banned for no reason.

Carbon taxes in Australia and airlines flying into the EU. Carbon wars if India imposes a similar airline levy.

Canada is looking pretty smart right about now. They opted out of Kyoto.

CO2 has nothing to do with climate change. It has all been a hoax in the service of:

"In searching for a new enemy to unite us, we came up with the idea that pollution, the threat of global warming, water shortages, famine and the like would fit the bill....All these dangers are caused by human intervention....and thus the “real enemy, then, is humanity itself....believe humanity requires a common motivation, namely a common adversary in order to realize world government. It does not matter if this common enemy is “a real one or….one invented for the purpose." Club of Rome

That one makes H.L. Mencken a prophet:

"The whole aim of practical politics is to keep the populace alarmed — and hence clamorous to be led to safety — by menacing it with an endless series of hobgoblins, all of them imaginary."

"The urge to save humanity is almost always only a false face for the urge to rule it."
