It is no longer global warming because it isn't.

It is climate change because it does.

Men are never so likely to settle a question rightly as when they discuss it freely.

— Thomas B. Macaulay (1800-1859), Essay on Southey's Colloquies

All of us could take a lesson from the weather. It pays no attention to criticism.

Did someone flunk Grade 5 science?

There is more snow because there is more water vapor in the air due to global warming. Supposedly this is why Alaska is being buried this year. But cold air holds less water vapor than warm air. Isn't that why we use humidifiers in the winter? If the air was warmer there would be less snow.

Perhaps all that cold air is coming from the winds blowing over the Bering Sea whose surface temperatures are running as much as 5 degrees colder than normal.

Phoenix has 3 times the water vapor in its air as does Anchorage, Alaska. It is getting no precipitation . Anchorage is setting snowfall records.

We really do get confused when talking about what is going on in the Arctic.
