Some guy named Peter Gleick has published his list of Bad Science awards for 2011. Seems Mr Gleick is slinging some BS of his own. Or perhaps he meant this. BS in either case. Here is some consensus.
Temps are not warming, Peter. US temps have been declining for the last 15 years.Temps are declining in Western Greenland. Antarctica is getting colder.
The climate sensitivity to CO2 is overestimated. CO2 sensitivity seems to be decreasing.
We are in no imminent danger of overheating the planet.
Most of the IPCC 1990 predictions for the climate have been proven wrong. Reality doesn't match theory. Conclusion: theory is wrong.
CO2 exonerated. First place in the Climate Science BS awards to Peter Gleick. Congratulations.
Peter: please read Climategate emails. You will see that the science is not settled and there is no consensus among IPCC scientists. Is consensus why there are so many different GCMs that are all wrong?
Peter: you have made yourself irrelevant. For most of the last 10,000 years temperatures have been warmer than now. Here is some more BS.
