It is no longer global warming because it isn't.

It is climate change because it does.

Men are never so likely to settle a question rightly as when they discuss it freely.

— Thomas B. Macaulay (1800-1859), Essay on Southey's Colloquies

All of us could take a lesson from the weather. It pays no attention to criticism.

Does the Heat Hang Around?

Does the Heat Hang Around?

Sung to the tune of Do Your Ears Hang Low

Does the heat hang around?            Does the heat disappear
Does it ever make a sound?            In the upper troposphere
Does it sizzle in the air?                  Can there be any doubt
Does it sizzle on the ground?         This is where the heat gets out
Can you keep it from rising?           Is it waving bye bye
With carbon supersizing?               As it rises in the sky
No, the heat’s not bound!               Yes, cold beats the heat up here!

With apologies to the music industry!
