There is ample contrary evidence: here  here  here  here and here to list a few.

What has to be shown to prove that CO2 dumped in the atmosphere by burning fossil fuels is not driving the temperature of the earth ever higher?

CO2 rising but temperatures not. Check. Check.

Some places on earth show cooling trend. That would be the South Pole, Antarctica. Check. Kind of takes the global out of global warming doesn't it?

More forest fires? Nope, down. Check.

More severe hurricanes. Nope, down. Check.

More severe tornadoes. Nope, down. Check.

More droughts. Nope, down. Check.

Increase in avalanches? Nope, down. Check.

More floods. This seems contradictory but nope, down. Check.

More crop failure and starvation. Nope. Check.

Glaciers receding. Some are. Some aren't. How can that be? Doesn't support premise. Check.

Sea levels rising. Nope, down in last two years. Check.

Infectious diseases getting worse. Nope, cholera and malaria deaths down. Check.

When reality contradicts the predictions of a theory the theory is wrong and must be reworked or abandoned. The theory of CO2 induced global warming is dead. Most people just don't realize it yet. Good riddance to CAGW.
