It is no longer global warming because it isn't.

It is climate change because it does.

Men are never so likely to settle a question rightly as when they discuss it freely.

— Thomas B. Macaulay (1800-1859), Essay on Southey's Colloquies

All of us could take a lesson from the weather. It pays no attention to criticism.

Scary Kerry

Kerry called climate change a global threat as he addressed an energy cooperation seminar on Saturday also attended by Chinese State Councilor Yang Jiechi.

“We are seeing the science of climate change come back to us now at a rate that is far faster and with far greater levels of damage than anything that scientists predicted 10, 15, 20 years ago,” he stated. “Every prediction that has been made is coming true, but coming true bigger and more dangerously.”

What planet is John Kerry talking about? Does it sound like the one you inhabit?

Gee, we have had bad weather in the past. Who knew? Not John Kerry. Shall we return to more stable times, John?
What is the hot spot, John? Hint: this is not a question on sex.
Your boss doesn’t know much either.

Is this an example of evidence supporting: “Every prediction that has been made is coming true, but coming true bigger and more dangerously.”?
Or this?
John Kerry is out of touch with reality and does not know what he is talking about. It is embarrassing when the leaders of the country put their ignorance on display in public forums.
Everyone is entitled to their opinion even if it is wrong. John Kerry has no doubts. He is not used to looking at reality only the fantasies in his own mind.
The whole problem with the world is that fools and fanatics are always so certain of themselves, but wiser people so full of doubts -- Bertrand Russell
