It is no longer global warming because it isn't.

It is climate change because it does.

Men are never so likely to settle a question rightly as when they discuss it freely.

— Thomas B. Macaulay (1800-1859), Essay on Southey's Colloquies

All of us could take a lesson from the weather. It pays no attention to criticism.

Ecclesiastes 1:9

What has been will be again....there is nothing new under the sun.

Hillary Clinton would do well to meet the acquaintance of Ecclesiastes who must have been a Biblical climatologist. He was prophetic.

"We are in a race against time," former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton warned Wednesday night, in an interview with actor Harrison Ford.

"We still live in a state of denial," Clinton suggested, regarding the future impacts of climate change. "We see it, we experience it, but we have a great deal of difficulty in summoning the political will ... to address it."

The end times are near are near - AGAIN. The sky is filled with fear AGAIN. Our policy is clear AGAIN. Make energy quite dear and THEN happy days are here AGAIN.

Hillary, along with many other people who do not know their weather history, have mistaken today’s weather for something new and unprecedented. If it is not reassuring to her let it be reassuring to you that concern over a warming Arctic and melting glaciers is nothing new. We have heard it all before.

Digitized newspaper archives are a wonderful thing. Thanks NOAA.

Hakuna matata. The Arctic is frozen (May 2013) as usual at this time of year.

Last summer (2012) the AGW crowd were going hysterical over triple digit temperatures as proof of global warming. Guess they hadn’t heard of the 1930s.
Sea level rise is always a concern when the glaciers are melting.
as it was in 1950. Still waiting.

Maybe Hillary is worried about superstorms because of the recent devastation wrought by Superstorm Sandy in New York and New Jersey.

No, that can’t be it.

What is she so worried about? Maybe Hillary suffers from AA (Apocalyptic Anxiety). It is a modern affliction that seems to have infected our leaders. and even some top scientists.

Perhaps we don’t have the political will to address climate change because politicians recognize that the people are not buying into the crisis because there is no crisis. Hillary missed that memo. The crisis is all in the minds of politicians who have been misled by the scientists who know their funding depends on there being a crisis. It is an imaginary crisis of our own making. Self assured scientists, hyperbolic media and politicians full of righteous indignation all hysterical over the Book of Revelations. They need to learn a little weather history and absorb Ecclesiastes 1:9.

Climate changes continuously because it is natural and cyclical. Humans are incidental tourists in the world of weather.
