It is no longer global warming because it isn't.

It is climate change because it does.

Men are never so likely to settle a question rightly as when they discuss it freely.

— Thomas B. Macaulay (1800-1859), Essay on Southey's Colloquies

All of us could take a lesson from the weather. It pays no attention to criticism.

Tilting at windmills

Matt Ridley has a piece in The Rational Optimist which takes on the utter stupidity of subsidizing the windmill as a source of renewable energy...  See it here

"...the public is slowly awakening to the fact that wind farms may not be saving anything at all in terms of fossil fuels burnt and CO2 emitted. That's mainly because the wind farms' erratic production force fossil-fuel power plants, which are needed to back them up when wind is not optimal, to spend much more fuel working in stop-and-go mode.." the rest is here

Oh, oh ...14,000 abandoned wind turbines here

Unreliable solar and wind energy could trigger catastrophic blackouts. See here

Another winning pick by your friendly government /sarc

Let those who want them pay for them....

Bats and birds. RIP.
