It is no longer global warming because it isn't.

It is climate change because it does.

Men are never so likely to settle a question rightly as when they discuss it freely.

— Thomas B. Macaulay (1800-1859), Essay on Southey's Colloquies

All of us could take a lesson from the weather. It pays no attention to criticism.

CO2 has a solstice party in Alaska

Alaska has been cooling for the last 10 years.

Alaska has had a ‘chilly spring from hell’ in 2013.

Near the summer solstice hot air from the tropics has Baked Alaska in an unusual heat wave.

Alaska was just as hot 60 years ago.

In 1934 temperatures of over 100F were recorded.

So what happened in 2013? Did CO2 hold a solstice party in Alaska?

Or do we explain the warm temperatures through more conventional meteorology that includes warm air masses moving into the area from the tropics brought by southwest winds.
