Consensus in the Arctic

Ice free Arctic from 2008 to 2030 or somewhere in there.

Zwally: summer 2012

Al Gore: 2014

2015 anyone

One of the world's leading ice experts has predicted the final collapse of Arctic sea ice in summer months within four years. So says Professor Peter Wadhams. That means 2015-2016.

Top Norwegian expert: 2008. How did that work out?

Next year? 2013 says McKibben

New Scientist: 2000. Why are scientists such bad seers?

Sooner or later it will be ice free in the Arctic, we just don't know when. Everyone has a guess.
