It is no longer global warming because it isn't.

It is climate change because it does.

Men are never so likely to settle a question rightly as when they discuss it freely.

— Thomas B. Macaulay (1800-1859), Essay on Southey's Colloquies

All of us could take a lesson from the weather. It pays no attention to criticism.

Arrest the Deniers

“Doubt is not a pleasant condition, but certainty is absurd.” -- Voltaire

How dare they question the gods of IPCC? Are they calling  Al Gore, John Kerry and BO liars?

Arrest these heretics! Lock ‘em up for blasphemy and throw away the key. We don’t want no dissent from our worldview here.

"The improver of natural knowledge absolutely refuses to acknowledge authority, as such. For him, scepticism is the highest of duties; blind faith the one unpardonable sin." -- Thomas H. Huxley

Good thing Huxley is dead or we would have to lock him up too!

When you have no rational arguments for your cause advocate the policies of Dear Leader. Authoritarians are all the same. If you don’t agree with them they will pull a gun on you. They want compliance. Give it willingly(play along) or they will use coercion to generate complicity.

"The growth of knowledge depends entirely on disagreement" -- Karl Popper

Dueling reports: Team of international scientists release global warming report countering UN — ‘The Nongovernmental International Panel on Climate Change (NIPCC) reports are hefty – the first volume in the Climate Change Reconsidered series was 850 pages long, and the latest volume is more than 1,000 pages…NIPCC reports are produced by scores of scientists from around the world (some 20 countries so far), cite thousands of peer-reviewed studies, and are themselves peer-reviewed.’

UN special climate envoy Dr. Gro Harlem Brundtland declared “it’s completely immoral, even, to question” the UN’s alleged global warming “consensus,” according to a May 10, 2007 article. Sounds scientific, doesn’t it?

Research by Australian climate data analyst John McLean revealed that the IPCC’s peer-review process for the Summary for Policymakers leaves much to be desired. (LINK) (LINK) (LINK) & (LINK)

Andrei Kapitsa, a Russian geographer and Antarctic ice core researcher: “The Kyoto theorists have put the cart before the horse. It is global warming that triggers higher levels of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere, not the other way round…A large number of critical documents submitted at the 1995 U.N. conference in Madrid vanished without a trace. As a result, the discussion was one-sided and heavily biased, and the U.N. declared global warming to be a scientific fact.”

Meanwhile, while alarmists are busy sounding the alarm, Mother Nature stopped raising the global mean temperature (GMT) over 15 years ago even as CO2 has continued to increase unabated in the atmosphere. That creates a disconnect between theory and reality. And Mother Nature is never wrong. Seems like Mother Nature is behaving like a man made global warming denier. Better throw her in jail.

'Nothing is more terrible than ignorance in action' -- Goethe

Was he talking about the IPCC and other alarmists?
