Fanning the Flames

: “And by 2100, New York City could see, on average, 16 days above 100 degrees. Atlanta could be looking at 39 days over 100 degrees for a year. In Chicago, 26 days of 100-plus. Dallas would see 98 days.” He then called for action: “And Las Vegas, by 2100, 138 days a year of 100-plus temperatures if we don’t do something to change this outcome.”

Currently the record for over 100 degree days in Las Vegas is 100 which occurred in 1947.

Another 38 days a year? People will survive.

And what does Al base these figures on? A climate model? DO we know how accurate that model is? Has it been validated? Can it reproduce the actual experience in the US over the period of greatest CO2 augmentation - the last 65 years?

Would that be a NO?
